Elizabeth and Nathan's Wedding!

After shooting Elizabeth & Nathan's engagement session in The Hamptons this summer, I knew I was in for a treat for their wedding! The couple borrowed this classic vintage two-person bicycle for an engagement photos and I knew then they were going to be a treat to work with!

The couple prepared for the big day at the Garden City Hotel, also the location for their reception. A Rolls Royce carried the bride and her father to St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Center where a traditional bagpipe player greeted arriving guests and the wedding party. After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails before entering the grand ballroom decked in lavish florals, lighting and elegant table settings all designed and coordinated by the uber-talented Cheryl J. Weddings & Events.  Guests danced the night away to the live music performed by The Kenny Ford Band and took away elegant sweet treats from Macaron Cafe!

The bride's fun facts include:
Something Old: My mother's sapphire pin that I had on my bouquet
Something New: My dress
Something Borrowed: My mother's diamond bracelet
Something Blue: Blue crystals on bottom of my shoes that spelled "I Do"
5 Pence in my shoe: I had a 5 pence coin from Ireland in my shoe for good luck (I danced with a coin in my 5 inch heals all night!)

Sarah and Virtaj's Wedding at The Sleeping Lady Resort, Washington

The Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth, Washington was the spectacular venue for Sarah & Virtaj's weekend mountain wedding! It was my first time working there (and hopefully not the last) and it was an amazing weekend affair. It started with a rehearsal dinner followed by dancing and henna artists decorating all the guests - including me! The wedding day could not have been more beautiful. The weather was perfect and after Sarah and Virtaj saw each other's first look, we spent some time taking photos by the Icicle River! Then the groom started off the festivities by entering on the traditional white horse and the family all greeted each other with flower necklaces and big hugs! After the ceremony, guests were treated to dinner and toasts and a performance by Apna Bhangra Crew as well as some dance lessons! Everyone was on the dance floor! Important note: each guest was treated to personalized jars of homemade jam to take home. Raspberries were harvested by the bride and groom and the bride's family and the jam was processed in the mother-of-the-bride's kitchen under the direction of family friend Lori Maul! It was an honor to be on the team. And if you are looking for a mountain venue, look no further! The accommodations were amazing! The entire wedding is online so click here to see all the images (make sure you get a password from the happy couple!) Vendors: Invitations: Cakespy Flowers: Elizabeth Designs Rings: Tiffany & Co.
