This morning I photographed a visit from the New York Knicks' Jared Jeffries and Toney Douglas at The Children's Aid Society in Harlem. The two basketball players had a busy morning - they loaded food in the food pantry at the Pelham Fritz location, visited preschoolers at the daycare (and checked out the kids' balance beam skills) and gave out gifts to parents. Jared Jeffries sponsored the event. Jared Jeffries and Toney Douglas. The children made a big card for Jared! Toney Douglas Jared Jeffries hands out great gifts for parents! I had the pleasure of photographing Jane Fonda at the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Carrera Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program at The Harvard Club. This is an amazing program and Jane has been an activist and working with Dr. Carrera for many years. Jane asked me to email her some imgages and then she posted some of my images on her blog! Click Here to see her blog.
It was such an honor to be there and learn about this highly effective program.
The reception was at Superfine in DUMBO. (The food was amazing by the way!) It felt more like a rock concert that night - apparently to be friends with them you MUST be able to rock it on stage! We had a blast and think everyone else did too! I loved Edi's second dress - very chic!
OK, I adore you both and wish you all the happiness in the world. We share a special bond and I'm just think you both are amazing. Cheers!

I photographed Jasmine and Milton's wedding in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens last month. It had been a stormy week but we all lucked out and the skies parted for the wedding! Congratulations you two!
You can see all the images by clicking here. You will have to use the password (the bride's last name) to see all the images. Feel free to leave good wishes for the couple here!
Of course we all want to lower our impact on the environment and work to lower our carbon footprint. Working digitally allows us to eliminate the thousands of gallons of developer and other chemicals used in the developing and printing processes. Camera batteries are all rechargeable as are the batteries and battery packs we use in our lighting equipment meaning we do not have to fill landfills with toxic batteries each week. We recycle as much as we can and try to work with local vendors and small businesses. We also offer images on CD to cut down on paper usage. Hey - I even bike to work when I can! Every little bit helps.
I am adding a list of vendors that provide eco-friendly services. Please email me if you know of a vendor that could be added!
