Elyse and Tim get hitched

I photographed Elyse & Tim's wedding in January.  We took shots all around New York and then headed to The Upper Crust for the ceremony, cocktails and reception.  Elyse's hair and makeup was by Christian Zamora.  Beautiful!

The rings and the invite...
The Tribeca Grand Hotel.
Elyse & Tim had their names on the marquis to celebrate the wedding!!!  Fabulous!

Is it Tuscany?  No, just another amazing New York street!
We stopped by Billy's for a quick sugar fix...

Fabulous decor!

This was an amazing arrangement over the buffet.

I love cake!

Eloping to New York!

Well, this was an exciting wedding! Allison & Jason flew in from California to elope and they got married at the Waldorf-Astoria on new year's eve. We took some fabulous photos in Central Park and around the hotel. We even snuck into the grand ballroom where they shared their first dance! Happy New Year!

More Cooking - with Mark Bittman!

Mark Bittman visited The Children's Aid Society's Next Generation Center in the Bronx yesterday. He worked with kids in the Next Generation Catering Company in the kitchen in a hands-on project making an amazing cassoulet. This is an amazing catering company and this a bit about them from their website: Next Generation Caterers specializes in healthful, innovative cuisine made from fresh and seasonal ingredients. Youth employed at NGC lead every aspect of the business, from creating menus, to preparing and serving food, to managing finances and marketing. In the process, they learn valuable entrepreneurship, leadership and life skills.

The food was wonderful and I think everyone had a fabulous time! Thanks Mark!

And hey, if you are having a party - hire Next Generation.  I've been to several events they catered and love their work!

I photographed another regional cooking competition for the Almost Famous Chef cooking contest for San Pellegrino.  Here are a few selects.  These were shot at New York's French Culinary Institute.
