This summer we shot Beth and Dan's beautiful wedding on Long Island. It was a busy day and the couple did an amazing job planning their wedding from their home in San Diego! We started off at the bride's family home and then off to the church just down the road. After the ceremony the bridal party headed to the beach for some fun shots on the water and then we headed back to the Milleridge Inn for the reception (where we had the most amazing Chateau Briande!). The Blue Tips Rhythm Revue completely rocked the house and there was some craziness on the dance floor for the later part of the night. We all loved the "invisible jumprope dance" - that was a first for me!
Congratulations to the happy couple and feel free to leave comments below!
That's your's truly getting danced at on the dance floor!
Amelia and Terry's wedding is coming up next weekend and here's some of my favorite images from their engagement session! We stopped to get some ice cream at the Van Leeuwen truck along Washington Street and then up to the High Line for a few pre-sunset shots along the park. Gorgeous! Feel free to leave comments for the happy couple! Click Here to view the full gallery! (the passcode is Amelia's last name, Case Sensitive!)
Of course we all want to lower our impact on the environment and work to lower our carbon footprint. Working digitally allows us to eliminate the thousands of gallons of developer and other chemicals used in the developing and printing processes. Camera batteries are all rechargeable as are the batteries and battery packs we use in our lighting equipment meaning we do not have to fill landfills with toxic batteries each week. We recycle as much as we can and try to work with local vendors and small businesses. We also offer images on CD to cut down on paper usage. Hey - I even bike to work when I can! Every little bit helps.
I am adding a list of vendors that provide eco-friendly services. Please email me if you know of a vendor that could be added!
