I had the pleasure of shooting the "Let Us Eat Local" event last night for
Just Food at New York's
Altman Building in Chelsea. The evening featured a tasting event featuring locally grown foods and honored leaders in local farming and food justice! Joel Salatin, owner of
Polyface Farm and author of "Folks, This Ain’t Normal: A Farmer’s Advice for Happier Hens, Healthier People, and a Better World" was honored as well as Deb Kavakos of Stoneledge Farm; Classie Parker of Five Star Community Garden, and Basilous Falconer, a student at
The Bronx Guild High School.
